The political parties that invest the most in Facebook Ads

We have studied the data between March and August 2019 to see which political parties have invested the most in Facebook advertising in Spain . This period of analysis is very interesting, as it coincides with the electoral Specific Database By Industry lead period for the national, local and European elections.

Unidas Podemos . Its main account, Podemos, has accumulated an advertising investment of 548,376 euros during these months, spread over 356 advertisements. This same party has also published advertisements for the accounts of Irene Montero (75,770 euros), Un país moderna (64,543 euros) and Pablo Iglesias (53,270 €). In addition, Unidas Podemos Cambia

Europa has invested

Euros in advertisements and Podemos Comunidad de Madrid, 48,816, and 21,756 euros more spread over several local accounts such as those of Castilla-La Mancha, Aragón, Fuenlabrada, among others. The total sum of all its accounts amounts to 863,781 euros of investment .

Ciudadanos

The Ciudadanos account has spent 322,302 euros on Facebook advertising over the last few months. It is curious to see that it publishes many more different ads than Podemos, with a total of 6388. Ciudadanos Andalucía also has a significant investment in Facebook Ads (41,211 euros).

The rest of the investment is 331,548 euros distributed in local accounts

Such as those of Zaragoza, Aragón or several personal ones. The total investment made by Ciudadanos has amounted to 372,759 euros in Facebook advertising.
